<parameter><value>
Modifies the specified EX parameter to the new value.
Enter this command to modify the specified EX parameter to the new value. The following list of parameters can be changed:
Pots.FxoDialToneDetectionMode
- When dial tone detection is enabled, the unit waits for a dial tone
on the FXO line before initiating the dialling sequence. If no dial
tone is detected, the line is considered as busy with an incoming
call. This mechanism helps avoid collisions between incoming and outgoing
calls.
This is an enum parameter
with a range of two values, Disable(100) or CountryTone(200):
Disable(100): Dial tone detection is disabled.
CountryTone(200): The unit tries to detect the tone specified for this purpose in the current country's tone specification. Some country specifications omit this information; in this case, the unit behaves as if the Pots.FxoDialToneDetectionMode parameter is disable (see the TelIf.CountrySelection parameter). This is the default value.
Pots.FxoDialToneDetectionTimeout - Indicates how long the unit waits for a dial tone before deciding that the line is busy with an incoming FXO call. The value is expressed in milliseconds (ms). The range of supported values is: 1300 to 10000 and the default value is 3000.
Pots.FxoPreDialDelay - Indicates the delay between the moment the line is successfully seized, or dial tone detected, and the moment the destination phone number is dialed. The value is expressed in milliseconds (ms). The range of supported values is: 0 to 10000 and the default value is 0.
Pots.FxsDefaultVisualMessageWaitingIndicatorType - Indicates the Visual Message Waiting Indicator (VMWI) is sent on FXS lines. This is an enum parameter with a range of two values, Fsk(100) or FskAndVoltage(200):
Fsk: A FSK signal is sent to activate the VMWI on the phone. This is the default value.
FskAndVoltage: Both FSK signal and high voltage signal are used to activate the VMWI on the phone.
NOTE: FskAndVoltage is not supported on all devices.
MaximumFacilityWaitingDelay.Slot1/E1T1 - Indicates the maximum amount of time to wait for a FACILITY message, after receiving a SETUP message and before going on with normal call processing. A FACILITY message can contain useful information for the call such as a Calling Name. The value is expressed in milliseconds (ms). The range of supported values is: 0 to 1500 and the default value is 0.
NOTE: In order for the MaximumFacilityWaitingDelay.Slot1/E1T1 parameter to be effective, the SignalingChannel.FacilityServicesEnable parameter must be enabled.
The list of examples below illustrate the use of each of the above parameters, respectively:
